Washing machine

We installed a Danby washer in the PDEK yesterday. 12# load, top load, very quiet, easy to get in.

We have a set of Whirlpools in our PDEK. It was a non-negotiable item for the wife. Will never have an RV without them.

My next RV will have a washing machine....

Right now, I use a 5 gallon pail with a lid and strap it on the back of the quad when I go trail riding.....

It works depending on how rough the trail's are....

Wash Machine Addition

We would like to add a washer & dryer to our 2014 355RE, any suggestions on brand, types, etc.? (Hook-ups exist.)

We have a top load Danby washer and a front load Panda 120v dryer. About $600 for both. They were used almost daily on trip to Gulf Shores and worked great. I was a little suprised and delighted at how quiet and well they worked. I did get warehouse deals on both and saved a couple hundred. Would do again. The dryer vent kit was about $60.

Awesome! The convenience of on-board laundry is hard to deny. We got a combo unit back in September and can't imagine going without.

I looked at a few non-Splendide units but ultimately came back to it due to online reviews.

Not an option with a TC but I carry a snap lid 5 gallon bucket in the truck and dirty clothes, a bit of soap and water go in and I strap it to the back rack of the quad and go trail riding. When I get back the clothes are washed.

I rinse them and hang out to dry on the awning rail....

Necessity is the mother of invention.
