Where is the pump?

Our 2012 Sandpiper 315re lets the fresh water tank fill up from the city water connection. It takes a day or so and I want to check the back flow valve on the pump but can't find the pump. I fear it is enclosed within the bottom cover and if so would like to start close to it if I drop a section. The dealers $99/hr is starting to look like a good deal but hope to fix it myself if possible. Thanks for any help.

Are you saying it takes a day or longer to fill your fresh water tank?

Have you run the water pump and traced the noise? I should be behind a removable panel in a lower cabinet inside or in the basement storage. If you have a docking station, it's probably right behind it.

No it fills up by leaking back through the city water. Just can't locate the pump to check the back flow valve.

Not sure if your Sandpiper has the "docking station" on the driver's side where all the connections for water sewer are, but if it does, your pump is right behind that, you can access it from the other side, there is probably 4 screws and a panel comes off. The pump will be right there. I hope this helps.

The panel to remove is it inside the camper? I do have a docking station.

Thought I better clarify just in case. The panel is inside the camper however, not inside the living quarters. It's inside the pass-through storage. Take just about everything out of your pass-through storage. Use a step stool and crawl inside the storage from the passenger side where you can go into the living quarters of the camper). This gives you access to get directly behind the docking station. Remove the screws, pull the panel away and there's your pump. There's quite a bot of room back there in my 365. I think I'm going to put a 5 gallon pressure tank in mine this spring. Hope this helps.

Thanks all. Will go look if weather clears up this week. Only in the 40's so a little cold to be playing around water.
