Still have mine. Waiting for a shop to come do the dometic ac service work and maybe install a third ac. Was going to have a talk with Forest River at the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting in early may ( I live in Omaha) but looks like I will be out of town. Would love to hear what the Forest River corporate and sales folks would say when shown this forum...

Good luck. I was denied the dometic service even though I fell within the VIN numbers that the bulletin was addressing. I'm out of FR warranty now.

well, I am new to the Sandpiper line so I plan on hanging out here more often. My wife and I just bought the last Sandpiper 25rls that we could find. While its a 2015, its still a brand new camper and carries the full warranty, plus I am sending in for the second year warranty today.

So what is this dometic recall that you speak of?

There were not enough vents in some of the units they were making excessive water and not draining properly this moisture was getting on data cable connections causing corrosion thus Ac failure the fix was add more registers and some sort of baffle to drain water properly also replace damaged cables and electronics if yours is one that falls into this you might as well get it done before you leave dealer

Also it wasn't technically a recall

Recall, service bulletin, whichever. My unit fell within the realm of needing the service and FR denied it within weeks of my warranty expiring..... HMMMMMMMMMMMM..........

Just got my 17 Sandpiper 378FB in Feb and I love it. A few minor things that I fixed my self but in all I am pleased. I did notice that both my AC units are Dometic Brisk Air II 15,000 BTU units. Did FR change from the Blizzard mid year???

We're new - on our maiden voyage with our 372LOK. Sofar only minir issues - problem with a recliner that we plan to report this week, flimsy curtain tie-down broke when our dog brushed against it, stove burners don't "simmer" at lowest heat so trying to figure out cooking, front vinyl cover on bathroom sink has what appears to be installation damage. Not too bad for this giant rig.
