Sleeting here like crazy right now....snow predicted for tonight...50% chance and for us that's pretty much a guarantee.

To add insult to injury I work for Verizon as a line splicer and now they put us on mandatory 7 day 12's for how long who knows at least I'll have some extra money to spend this summer. The poor power crews have been going on 16's nonstop this winter just won't let up. 1/2" of ice isn't doing anyone any favors either.

Sooooo.....a weather warning just came across, this is not what I want to see:

"...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO

MIDNIGHT CST WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A WINTER

STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN...WHICH IS IN

EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT."

At least if we do lose power I can go get into the camper!

I would but I would need to shovel out a path first, better to just fire up the generator.
