2009 Sierra Furnace
Hi! So my furnace was working fine-ish for awhile. YouTubed the on for 10 seconds off forever issue with my thermostat Auto/Lo/Hi setting, still infuriates me and have to hold the button down all the time still without making adjustments to temperature but anyway. I have bigger fish to fry. Now when it does come on it’s blowing cold air. I’m figuring it’s the pilot light but I can’t find the dang thing to check it! I can hear it. I know where it should be behind the vents outside. Nowhere under cabinets, fridge, oven. There’s a small compartment that gets to the water filter from the side storage compartment but I can’t see a furnace anywhere!!
Is it possible I have to take the underlayment off to get to it??? I can’t inagine they could make it anymore difficult to get to than it is right now. If I could find it that is. Even had a guy from the dealership come to look. He couldn’t find it either. Seriously?!? What the Heck?!?
Any help would much appreciated!! My little dog is freezing and it’s not really even cold yet.
Thanks in advance!!

My unit is different but I have a return air grate under my refrigerator. I removed it and my furnace is behind it. My furnace has no pilot light but an on-demand electronic ignition.
Sorry... but we have to ask....... are you sure you have propane and that your battery is fully charged?

Mr Dan
Understandable questions. Yes. I have propane as the fireplace and the stove work fine. I am also plugged in to electric and water etc. There is no intake visable anywhere. I have gone through every cabinet, drawer I’ve taken out some wood panels that cover electric boxes I have looked absolutely everywhere save for underneath the actual underlayment. I am truly disappointed in such a poorly designed set up that this is so ridiculously difficult to find. I see newer rigs have everything set up in one door. Beautiful! Jealous. I’ve had a number of friends who have been rv owners for years and the salesman from the CampingWorld I bought it from come look. No one can find the bloody thing! Absolutely ridiculous.

Look for the intake/exhaust port on the outside of your rig. Looks like this.
Then go inside and the furnace will be on the inside of the wall where you saw the intake/exhaust port. You may have to remove a panel to access it.

I have a gallery tank valve that was hard to open and close. My Sierra is a 2016. I removed the screws on the side of the wet bay to find the problem and inside that panel I saw the furnace . You might want to check there.

try resetting it. press the zone and mode at the same time until you see the display come up with all your zones on the display. then press off and wait a couple seconds and turn it on. worked for me. mine is a 14 Sierra.

They're asking the OP what model, not you.

I have a 09 Sierra and my outside ports look just like this and on the inside directly behind this is my fridge with an access panel below to the heat pump.

Thanks, but the OP is talking about a furnace, not a heat pump. Jeff might be interested, however.
