2014 sierra 365saq upgrades

Hello again, we are getting close to the 2014 camping season in the north east... At times is felt like it was never going to arrive!

I take delivery of my 365saq in may and already have a couple of upgrades in mind.

1) like in most Rv's the inside kitchen counter space it limited. In some Rv's there is a space to mount a counter extension for added counter space. The most logical place would be to the right of the sink but it would cover the drawers. Has anyone added a foldable counter extension? Maybe in front of the sink? Not sure how practical space that would add. Looking for suggestions.

2) I have seen coffee tables in some RV for in front of the sofa. I did some research and found a USA company in CA who hand crafts a foldable design. Folding tables by Spiderlegs. Quality folding tables that are portable, collapsible, handmade and easy to use! his product design makes a wooden 18"x28"x18" table compress and fold into the size of a briefcase and he will stain the wood to match any color. Any ideas how I would find the color of the cabinets in the first half of the year 2014 models? I was planning to call forest river but figured I would start here first.

Thanks in advance. Here is to 2014 season! Cheers! - joe

I think having something in front of the sink could prove to be a challenge. But, the time that I use our flip-up countertop extension is when I'm making lunches for everyone and want to be able to make 6+ sandwiches at a time. In front of the sink may not be awful, but it would definitely limit the usefulness of the countertop extension.

And the spider tables are pretty cool. We use simple folding ottomans in our camper:

They've honestly saved the couch from me considering a replacement. The comfort factor went way up once we could put our feet up.

I like the folding ottoman idea. Comfort and storage combined. Thanks for the idea.

We have the flip up corian extension on our 2014 yes it does cover the top drawer on the side but the wife just puts the stuff used less in that drawer. We find it really nice to have especially washing dishes. We have the standard booth dinette and have found we have to remove the table top or else it puts a little to much pressure on the extensions and the corresponding rubbing when traveling could wear on either table top or extension.

This was a factory option when we ordered our 2014 last April. I will try to get out to the trailer and take some pics of it right away.
