2019 Sierra 379 FLOK window shades

Has anyone come up with a fix for the 1” - 2” gap on each side of the shades? We just have a problem being open to the world at night!

Most of our windows have those little curtains on the side that help.

We're new so I just saw your question. We went to Lowes and bought tiny clear Command hooks. Attached to the black window frame (2 per side) and slide the shade behind the tiny hook. Now we have privacy! Just need to slightly shift the window shade when raising. Hope this helps.
