2019 Sierra 401FLX - no flow in ac vents in main cabin

I moved into my new Sierra this past Thursday. The next day, and ever since, there has hardly been any air flow coming out of the ac vents in the main living area.

I have a Dometic 15K with 2 zones. The bedroom works great. In the main cabin, it's gotten up to 88 degrees during the day!! The AC blows cold from the main vent, but the air doesn't seem to be going down the ducts.

Any suggestions on what to do?

What are you calling your "main vent"? If you're talking about a rapid cool-down dump vent, you can close that and get the unit to pump air out the duct vents.

As Dan mentioned, opening the 'Quick Dump' vent(s) allows the cold air to come out at the A/C unit for quicker cool down of that area. Close them for ducting air flow.

If the quick dump vent is closed and you still have no air flow from the vents, you'll need to pull the A/C cover inside and look for loose baffling or something else that might be blocking the flow.

The "quick dump vent" has been closed, and still no flow to the vents in the living area. I did open this vent yesterday and placed a fan below so the cold air would reach across the room. We've taken the cover off, but can't see into the ducts. We might have to get some kind of scope to see I guess.

So far, no reply from the dealer.

It could be that 1 AC is just not enough to cool also. Air is going to take the path of least resistance. You can try to close off all other vents to see if you can get air out of the vents in question.

I have another AC unit for the bedroom that is working fine. Where the quick dump vent is in the kitchen, I can feel the cool air. It is just not making it's way through the vents to the living area.

Everything worked great when I did my walk through, so wondering if something came loose or got stuck during the delivery.

There have been many reports of the baffling coming loose inside the A/C unit and/or not sealed properly from the get go. Also several reports of a piece of foam coming loose and blocking a vent.

If you have taken the cover off and looked you should have been able to see if something was amiss. People have mentioned removing a couple vents and shining a flashlight in the vent to see if they could see light at the A/C unit. You might try that.

They make very inexpensive borescope type camera's that connect to a cell phone.
I have one and it works great. It would let you see inside the ducting.
Similar to this...

Try this ... it worked for me.

Rotate the directional vanes on the the vents 90 degrees to the direction of the duct run. Mine were initially parallel with the duct and we got very little airflow, it was all going upstairs to the bedroom. Rotating them helped airflow in the main living area.

Just a thought.

The dealer's AC tech came out twice. First time, he found all the plenums were just sitting there. He taped them in and the air flow increased a little.

The second time he did a more thorough inspection and didn't find anything in the ducts. He had to replace the breaker that goes to the AC.

I think the AC unit itself is not big enough to cool properly. I have it set to 79 and it gets up to 85 in here.

Any tips/tricks anyone may have tried would be welcomed!!

Thanks everyone for your replies.

sealing the ducting to the unit as it should be is a big thing. Seems like it gets left out on a lot of RV's. There's also a partition between the supply and return that usually gets left open and it should be taped closed. Then there's the ducts them selves, they can be open at the terminal end and/or blocked along the run.
