We added its own 30 cord and we also hooked one of the outlets by the tv to it too, so in the winter u can run a heater off of it, unlike some people will tell u, u can use a 50 and a 30 amp at the same time at a campground, never ever had a issue with it, the third a/c is a must in the bunkroom!!!!!
Smoo we do the same thing with our XLR. Live the three ACs. Amd never have had a problem running the 30 and 50 our friends call our camper the meat locker

In our destination trailer, 13.5 second unit for the bedroom. Nice to turn the main unit up a few degrees in the evening and leave the bedroom cooler. Only been up to 87 degrees so far and having a second unit works great. When we first arrive at the trailer, takes only a few minutes to bring the temp down to a comfortable level.
We live in Texas with our 365. In 98 degrees and no shade one ac will keep the unit around 78-80. We purchased shades that really help with the heat that comes threw the windows. I also tinted the skylight and the fantastic fan in the bathroom. I didn't not want to stop all the light from them so I tried the tint and it works very well so far. We have a second a/c but only use it when we are cooking. I would think the new units with the darker gel cote and front cap would make it harder to cool.
For us northerners 78-80 is too hot. We like ours around 72 or lower. We usually set AC to 68-70 and we've held 70 in 100+ temps and 95%+ humidity. That's with 15k main unit and 13,5k bedroom.
Aqua man we r the same way!!! We like it cool, 80 is to hot for us to, 72-74 here is what we like, we can maintain that with two a/c but if no shade or the wind is howling then the third on turns on.
We moved to Texas from Maine. I agree 80 is warm but when it's almost 100 outside 80 feels pretty good. We have to pay our electric and I think if we made it a "meat locker" we would have a heck of a electric bill. One other thing I did was remove the wall in the front cap and insulated it. If you pull out the shelfs in the middle you will find like me there is no insulation in there.
We should take our shelves out and do that too, gets pretty cold in the winter up there for a washing machine, thought about insulating the water lines
