365SAQ. Keeping cool in hot weather
Anybody got any hints on keeping the entire coach cool during periods of temps on the 90's. I have tried several things and have had good results, but wondering what everyone else is doing. We have 2 A/C's and both are ducted.

I took the last vent off in front and back run and put a stop at the end of each.they both blew on past the last vent and into ceiling. That increased airflow dramatically. We also have two a/c units and have no problem keeping it 72 degrees when in 90s.As long as its been cooling since morning.

How difficult was it to close the duct off at each end. If possible give me some info so I can close each of them off. No need to put cool air where I don't need it.

Did you just take the last round vent out on each end to access the duct and block it just past the vent? If so it sounds easy enough. Thanks.

fishgolf365 let us know if it works easy for you too and helps with the cooling. I'm going to have to check this on our camper too. I never think it gets cool enough, except at night.

We stayed in Myrtle Beach last week in the mid 90s and kept the rig in the low 70s by running both a/cs. However, with mine being a '12 and only having one factory vent in the bunkroom, I cut the ceiling and installed another in that duct line. I then bought a closeable vent and installed it in the 1/2 bath(and closed it almost off) and it made a huge difference over last year.

We put a third a/c on the back bunk room and use a seperate 30 amp cord for it, we also wired in one of the outlets by the tv to it so that in the winter when not using the a/c we can run a electric heater back there and not pull any amps off of the stock 50 amp service, the camper place did a awsome job!!! They hit the breaker in the closet and put a removable 30 plug on the outside, it all looks factory, no more cooling issues no matter how hot it gets

The only downside i see on a 3rd a/c is the lack of light in the room but that is an easy fix too

That is our rack we had built for the back, we sometimes r gone for a cpl months working and living in our camper so a deep freeze is a great investment for beef, ice, etc also a treager and extra propane for winter use

Holy Carp, that is alot of weight back there, You musta done a great job attaching the rack to the frame. Mine has a pretty stout factory rack, but has a 250 lb rating which includes the spare tire.

I'm sure your rack is built solid, but that seems like a lot of weight on the very back.
