Also just ordered a 2014 sierra 365saq

Well we finally bit the bullet too and ordered a 2014 365saq. We weren't really sure if we wanted to do it and have second thoughts here and there but after all the customizing we did and our dealer was awesome we just couldn't say no. We ordered it somewhat loaded up, second a/c, fireplace, camp kitchen, r38, thermopane windows, 7000 lb axles gen prep, combo washer dryer, they are swapping out the couch in the bunkroom for a j cube since that is more suiting for the age of our kids, fantastic fans in all vents, we got the mocha leather couch and dinette but then got the cashew accents, lippert remote, and corian countertops. We didn't opt for the king bed for a little more room around the bed, and also kept what carpet we could. We haven't actually seen this unit in person but have looked at sabre 36qbok so have a general idea of what it will be like, so hopefully the quilts feeling of spending money we don't have will lay off.

Congrats! I know the sinking feeling of taking on loans for these things (we did truck and RV at the same time). But, the time spent out together as a family makes those feelings slip away!

Congratulations, the second thoughts will fade as you start enjoying those wonderful days and nights with your family. They're grown and gone before you know it. Cherrish it while you can. Life is short.

Congrats! I think everyone else here has already said it, but I will say it again. While it seems like a lot of money it is well worth it when you are out there with the family enjoying the camping life. Your wife may have those feelings right now but wait until she spends her first outing in it, it will all go away and you start planning the next trip.

We've been camping for several years now and our entire family loves it. All I have heard nearly every day for the last couple of weeks is "when are we going camping again Dad?"

I think the feeling comes since we have a 30ft TT already and our next baby is due at the end of June so smack in the middle of our camping season and since we farm August and September are basically out of the question, so it is just the fact that we may not use it much at all this year, and we have a unit that would have got us by. But with the options and pricing we were able to get up here in Canada from a dealer only 3 hours away ( yes that is very close for us lol) we couldn't pass it up.

Congratulation ehorn on your purchase! We too looked at the Sabre a few years back with a similar floorplan and always dreamed of owning one. I know you are going to love it and you got it pimped out as well. We ordered a new Puma last and year and a passerby asked to look inside it. Told the guy everything is for sale at the right price. So long story short we had always wanted a 5th wheel but were about 3-4 years from getting one. We went ahead and ordered it thinking of it as a long term investment. To top it all off I had to get rid of my 2009 F150 and get a new truck to pull the 5th wheel. So I know the feeling. But all the memories I still have from camping when I was little from camping with my parents is what I want to leave my 3 girls with. Once again congratulations and maybe we will see you when we pick up ours. They told us our 2014 is to arrive 3rd week of April. When is yours expected?

It is funny I saw her on Friday and she told me that someone was at the show asking all the same questions as me such as the 7k axles and such. She said both of us did our homework. She asked if I had talked to you and I said I have no idea and then I made the connection with your post and told her he must be a fellow member on FR forums. We have this site to thank from our fellow owners.

That is funny ya we didn't make it up to regina to look at one, so we are just going off Internet pics and the sabre we looked at in Moose Jaw couple weeks ago at the minards show. She also mentioned that I was the second person that inquired about 7000lb axles. I guess we should have discussed our precise with each other first so we see who got took worse lol.

Pictures in the pamphlet do not do it justice. Goto youtube and search for the Sierra there are some great videos and walkthroughs on the unit.

Congrats on your 2014 Sierra 365saq. You did load it up pretty good. The regrets will vanish as soon as you start enjoying all the amenities your new camper has to offer.

Hey medik do you have the fridge in the kitchen or still in its own cubby outside of the kitchen? I am just wondering what they have done with the space that they used to use for the outside fridge? I don't see any extra cupboards or drawers inside and they got rid of the door on the outside so I am curious if there is just a big open hole in the back corner of the kitchen.

Mine is in its own little cubby hole on the outside of the camper near the speakers. It is underneath the kitchen counter in the corner. I believe on a few, that area is now an entertainment area with TV and speakers. I prefer to have my fridge there. Also, it may have had something to do with the air being able to circulate around the fridge in that cabinet.

Ya I am curious on that I don't see the little door there anymore in the outside. I just might have to wait and see when mine comes in. That could be a big area of unused storage.
