Awning leak!!!

Just wondering if anyone else's rig is leaking around the top of the awning... first trip out and it rained a couple days and I noticed the side under the awning was wet and it dropping from the awning? Wondering if there is suppose to be a seal there that got over looked from the factory or so I have a fault awning

I had the same problem. I got the awning replaced under warranty. The new awning also leaked. I then used FLEX SEAL (clear) , sprayed on the top stitches, three coats. So far it does not drip anymore.

Thanks for the help!! I think I'm gonna go that route by having the awning replaced.... then resort to other options I guess if that doesn't fix it!!

Don't know if its still available but I use a product made by Colman that is for water proofing tents. It was Like a gel and I just smeared it over the stitching over the entire length of awning , let dry and then rolled up. Been on for 1 1/2 years and no leak. Later RJD
