What I believe they are saying is that if you don't, they at least offered. I didn't play that.

Yes, mine was picked up and dropped off, but i had a number of other items too handled there...the major being a water leak from the shower that soaked the electricals underneath.

My brother had his axles replaced at a dealer here in CT.

It was the warranty rep that said it would need to because they have to move hangers and that it's not as simple of just swapping out the axles.

I have contacted forest river again and I'm waiting on a decision. I hope they do the right thing and ok the job. I live up in Maine and would rather have my dealer do the work. But if they are going to come and get it I'm ok with that too.

Same for me. I was offered to bring it to them in Indiana or they would send the parts to my dealer. I'm in NY so it's a 12+ hour ride to IN. or 4 1/2 to my dealer in PA. Needless to say my dealer is doing it which I am more than comfortable with.

When I was working with them to get the ball rolling on mine they told me they would work with my dealer to decide if they were up for doing the job. If my dealer did not want to do it, then it would have to go back to the factory. After talking to my dealer about this, they will be doing it.

So I just got a email back from the rep. They are willing to change out my axles but it's still on me to transport my unit to them. I have asked them if my dealer up here can do. I hope they let my dealer do it. $1000 in diesel fuel and about 37 hours of driving doesn't sound to fun.
Thanks to all that have replied I believe that the info here helped me convince them to change the axles.
