Was a lose screw in the electronic shifter console. That was only $945.00 and a trip toGreensboro NC.
If you have a MoHo, you can afford the bill. I'd say they rolled the tow into the 945 bucks

Well pulled it home and all is well. Hoping it will stay that way.

I have a2015 3500 duramax and when I bought my cedar Creek in October of 15, I hooked up to it at the dealer to go home, rolled out of the parking spot and hit the trailer brakes, I kept right on rolling. I had the same error message in my truck as well. They messed with it for awhile and could not fix it, so I left my new wagon there and started back home none to happy. Home was about 70 miles away and it was Saturday afternoon but I passed a GMC dealer on the way and pulled in. They were nice enough to look at it, plugged it in to the diagnostic computer and said nothing was wrong. They cleaned up the terminals in the plug, smeared it with dielectric grease and sent me home (still not happy). I went out the following week and picked it up and although the brakes did not work great, they seemed to work marginally. My wagon has dexter never adjust brakes. The more I drove the better it stopped. So in the end it seems my problem was corroded connections and to lesser extent, minor adjustment issues. I haven't had a problem since and I have had to make some quick stops in the last year and half - which is just about inevitable anymore. Good luck with yours.
The more I drove the better it stopped! Textbook issue covered in Dexters owners manual,"Burnish the Brakes" has nothing to do with the wiring as you elude by your own admission! Youroo!!
