Broken black tank drain valve/cable

Well my front black tank ,the valve is broken in the open position, not sure if it's a broken cable or the valve itself.I was wondering how hard it is to replace one ? I don't really want to take it in and have to wait for months.
It has has been broken for a while but since its in the open position I added another valve on the end where the hose hooks up. It was poorly installed from the factory, the cable (which I hope it is )was routed to tightly.

Not to hard. Pull the Coroplast under the trailer and locate the valve. See if you can manually operate it. If its the cable order and replace just the cable. If its the valve you may be able to just remove the screws and slide in a new one.
I had to cut my 1 1/2" grey pipe and put a rubber connection in to replace the valve but now it will be easier down the road to repair.

The gate was cracked in half on mine from the install at the factory someone while putting the valve in used a large screwdriver to push the flanges apart and went a little crazy and busted the paddle/gate right in half causing it to not only be half open but also jammed it in position. Thank god I checked it before we ever used the tank. The install was not impossible but not fun either. I was also about to cut the pipe myself but it went in on the last try. Good luck... however cutting the pipe inline on one side would definitely make life easier...
