Dinette slide issue

I have a new 2013 SierraSAQ. I have the party couch option . When I install the two tables I have a 15 degree list to the left side of the unit and there is a noticeable dip in the floor. The tilt is so bad my kids can not eat on the table cause the food and drinks slide of the table.

We also have the party couch, but have a 2014 Sandpiper 376BHOK. The two pedestal tables gave us the same problem, so we aren't even using them. They were entirely too wobbly and leaned as you say toward the couch. If you stepped past them to sit on the couch, they would lean even more until you sat down. We bought a table from Target that came with 2 chairs. The top on it folds so the table is narrow, but can be opened to about the size of a card table if needed. There is also storage under the table top. It matches well and we like it much better. We bought a rectangular ottoman to sit in front of the other end of the party couch, as the table only takes up half the couch. It works very well. The link to the table we bought is at the end of my comment. I hope this helps. To be honest, the pedestal tables are the only thing we didn't like about our camper and it's something Forest River needs to improve the design on. Other than that, we love our camper so much. NiteCat if you came up with a better table, you would think manufacturers would also. Seems like ever camper that we have had has had some issue with the table. Either wobbles are the table is to big in the one we have now. I'm 115 lbs. and I can't get in the seat. lol

Table problems

We bought a 2013 376bhok and have the same table problems. Does anyone know if supports for the slide would help the problem?

We even had problems with the base plates staying in the floor. So, we removed the pates and bought some thin finished plywood and widened the support. The table still sways and has a problem with the one end tipping the table if too much weight is applied but at lease we have somewhere to put the legs.

Removing plates?

We thought about removing the metal plates because we don't use the pedestal tables. Does it look OK without the plates? Can the plates be easily put back on if needed (maybe if we ever decide to sell the camper)? Just wondering before I let my son in law take them off.

Removing base plates

We did not have much of an option because our screws kept coming lose/out anyway. We removed the table with every move and the baseplates kept coming off with the legs. It looks fine though. It took a little for the carpet to bounce back but it does. We have a runner that is under the table protecting the floor so that could have something to do with it. As far as reapplying them, I am not sure because we have not done that. If you have good feeling in your hands, you can feel along the floor for the previous holes. I hope this helps.

Funny this seems to be a common issue with the party couch with banquet tables. This was one of our warranty claims that we had resolved. The dealer installed steel wedges under the plates in order to eliminate the slant toward the slide side. This made the table sit straight. I agree that the poles are wobbly but it is better thank what we had before. Surprisingly when I talked to the rep at FR this was the first he heard of this. When we picked up the RV we neglected to install the tables. After first camping trip we noticed it. Recommend to inspect at PDI and document this so maybe this will be looked at being fixed by manufacturer.
