Fifth wheel LP inspection

Hi all,

We are having our 2015 Sierra 380bh5 winterized and the dealer is saying that it will be a 320 to an LP inspection. What is this and is it worth it?

Thanks

One good thing about LP gas is the universal warning it provides if it escapes its container. You'll become aware of a problem long before any repair shop, shut the tank if you detect anything next year.

What's actually included? I had a worry of a propane leak once (strong smell) and the mobile RV tech checked the exterior system in about 14 minutes.

Wow, 300 bucks? Really for about 2 gallons of RV antifreeze and about 10 minutes of work? Next winter, I'll gladly save your a hundred dollars and do it for you for $200.

Don't forget to get winter air put into your trailer tires. Its expensive but well worth it ;-)

Our unit was in for a few final warranty repairs so we had the dealer winterize this time. They charged 69.95 which included all material and inspection of roof.

For two gallons of this and a 1/2 hour of work?

DOW South/Win RV Antifreeze with DOWFROST-147005 - The Home Depot

Is it too late to go somewhere else? Don't let him touch anything else. If you get a propane leak you will smell it, or your alarm will go off.
