Finally

Well we finally got to take out our 2004 Sierra on our first trip. It was great for a 2 day weekend trip and can't wait to go again. I only have one complaint with it and that is the air conditioner could not keep up with the heat. Can anyone tell me what size air unit it may be? 13,000 or is it 15,000 as I am leaning towards 13,000. I am thinking of putting a 15,000 on it if it will help. Oh yeah it is a 30 amp service so it only has one air conditioner unit on it.

Our 15000 unit does very well, but we do keep sun shields on our windows, with the day & night shades pulled down. In very hot days, I don't think a 13000 would have kept up though.

Well I am going to bite the bullet and put a new AC unit on my 5er. It has a 13,500 so I am going to install a 15,000. Found out today the unit on it has a bad cooling coil and isn't cooling the freon before it re enters the inside coil. Seems that the previous owners used something to clean them and it ate away the aluminum fins. So all there is is the tube the freon goes through so it isn't cooling it off before the return to the inside. Oh well at least I can install it myself along with my nephew's help.
