Fresh water tank

Hello All,

I have a 2017 Sierra 376 BHOK. The problem I am having is, I moved campgrounds and now when I hook up to City water my fresh water tank is filling up and over flowing. It hasnít done this before. Has anyone else had this issue? I would think that they labeled the inlets wrong, but I have been in several different campgrounds and this is the first time it has happened. Thanks in advance!!

I have the 2015 version of the same model. I find that at some campgrounds, my water overflows from the city water hookup, and at other campgrounds it doesn't. I always use a pressure regulator. Can't figure it out.

Yes, I have tried draining the tank by using the pump. Iíve tried cycling on and off and still fills the freshwater tank. I contacted the dealer and they said that it sounds like a line is stopped up somewhere. They said to bring it in and they would blow out the lines....... I just rigged up a hose from the overflow vent to the outside to keep my cargo hold from filling up. And hopefully will figure something out. With all the lines well hidden away, itís difficult to troubleshoot without going into a major project. Thanks and let me know if you ever figure it out. Happy camping!!!

The check valve in the pump is bad normally when this happens. Water works back through it and fills the tank through it. If you have the winterizing kit with the antifreeze valve you can switch the valve and see if your city water pressure would then leak out the end of the winterizing hose. If your rig has an uncommon city water / tank fill valve instead of separate hookups that valve could cause this as well. I don't think that rig has the second system so the pump issue is where I would start.

Hey guys they make a black tank you install on your water tank for stuff like that. Look on the videos for the water tank and I believe the 4th or 5th video talks about over running water and how to fix it.

Can you be more specific on this? Don't understand installing a black tank on a fresh water tank or how it would stop back flow from the city water.

Also don't understand "the videos for the water tank." What videos?
