SpringBreak in a week.... Going to Florida.... Hope all the 'Snow Birds' are gone.....

My wifes parents were 'Snow Birds' going down to the Rio Grande Valley for 7-8 years. We visited them several times on 'SpringBreak'. They knew all the great spots to visit. Had a lot of fun at Winter Texan Days at Progreso Mexico

Turista Day in Nuevo Progreso is March 21 | Winter Texan Times - Serving Winter Texans From Mission To South Padre Island Since 1987

Don't blame you for waiting. 70's vs snow = no brainer .

Waiting a few days is probably a good thing, RVs and snow is really not a good idea. Just.

Good idea to wait. We were in Fl starting 12/31/13 and were there the entire month of January, lots of rain but had plenty of good weather too. We are in the Dallas Tx area and have been plenty cold and even had an ice storm since we have been back. This year we will be snowbirds from November till April. Thinking about Arizona for the next snowbird session.

It was a really wet winter for sure. We have been coming down here for 10 years and it never rains that much. Winter is their dry season usually. We stay below Orlando. We love going to the ocean and the really big Flea Markets here.

Yall are on up there in Arkansas. We've been all over that area. Sister used to live up in Eureka. We're actually headed to Hot Springs area in May and will probably be there a majority of the summer. Will be staying at Catherines Landing on Lake Catherine. We're thinking of heading to Florida next winter, but not sure just yet.

Lake Catherine is really a pretty area! We live up in the Ozarks just below Branson Mo area. Eureka Springs is an awesome area too! We love staying the winter in Florida.

We just book a site at a park for how ever many months. In the case where we are now, we're paid up through May. We're booking Arkansas next week to arrive in late May or early June. Somewhere in between those locations we'll be in Indiana for a short bit. Just regular parks, with all the necessary ammenities, that have a monthly rate. As for where, depends on what we want to see or do, which is what is so awesome about full timing. We wanted to sell our house and move somewhere, but couldn't decide on where, or didn't want to commit to buying something, so that lead us to having our "wheel estate" and full timing.

Some stay in the different parks full time. There are different contracts so we got this type. We stay at Orlando then down below Tampa all winter free and only pay the 595 yearly fee.
