Love the 2012 changes to 365SAQ

We had been looking at the 365SAQ at dealerships and online for almost a year before we ordered it on 9/12/11. We did our due dilligence and compared all fifth wheel bunkhouses with outside kitchens (that was our requirement list). Even though our friends were trying to talk us into getting the Cedar Creek, there were some things we loved about the Sierra that none of the others offered-- u-shaped dinette and placement of awning next to kitchen. We ordered it from Brannon at Couches RV Nation and it arrived at our house in Mass on 10/7 -- just in time for Columbus Day weekend. I had spoken with Curtis at Forest River about the changes and were aware of them but I have to tell you, the camper is even better than I thought it would be. The new closet design in the master is absolutely wonderful and I love the layout of the entertainment center and kitchen cabinet design changes too. Can't wait for our next trip!

Congrats!!!! We ordered a Sandpiper 346 RET mid Sept, hopefully it will arrive soon so we can get a camping trip or two in before we have to winterize it, you were lucky you can get some camping in before the end of the season!!! So, you custom ordered it from a dealer & it took about a month? I'm just trying to get a feel of how long it takes from placing an order to taking delivery. Its like waititing for a giant x-mas presant to arrive & I'm not good at the waiting part!!!!

Yes we ordered it from a wholesale dealer in Ohio and had it delivered. They typically take 6-8 weeks to build but we were lucky! Good luck with yours - hopefully the wait won't be too long.

A big Thanks for taking the time to show us the inside. We are getting super excited now that we actually know what it will be like inside. we should have ours the week of the 21st of Nov.
Hopefully you made it through that storm OK. Imagine SNOW on Halloween weekend.

Thanks again

It was a pleasure to show it to you. We did make it home safely and the camper has been winterized and put it's winter resting spot. We can't wait for next spring now. Let us know how you make out when yours arrives. Will you be returning to NF in the spring? We're planning a trip in April. Maybe we'll see you there.

First camping trip in our 365SAQ and we noticed the heat never makes it up to the master bedroom. The living and bunk room stay very warm but unless we cover the heat registers in those rooms very little if no hotair makes it up to the M/B. Do you have this issue? Thanks

I have a 2011 SAQ and never had a problem with the heat in our Master, I live in North East Ohio so it does get cold here late in our camping season and one weekend we took it four wheeling in WV this winter.

Have you checked to ensure that the flexibile duct is properly connected to the outlet and not leaking. You should be able to access it from the basement area.

No I haven't. The unit is 30 days old and it's in the shop having a new floor put in the whole unit. I will ask the repair shop to check it!! Thanks for the advice. It makes sense.
