Need new tires for 2010 Sierra 355 QBQ

After the blow out I had from my Trail Express junk tire, I'm looking to replace them. I'm really looking at the Bridgestone Duravis R250's.

My question is, with the 5er being so heavy will the bridestones hold up to the weight? They seem reliable as I have heard no bad things about them.

Any suggestions??

I would buy the most tire you can afford. Check the tire load charts, and get tires that can handle at least 20% more load than you are running.
My new camper came with tires that were rated for very little more than the weight of the camper, so I quickly changed them out for a higher load range in a much better tire.

I had the same problems with the tires on my 355QBQ. I didn't have a blowout but it was close. My 5er was a 1020 also, maybe that year was even worse a year for china junk. I went with goodyear marathons.they were a lot heavier tire than the china junk. you could look at the side wall and see and feel the difference. They are made in the US again and if you check the side walls you can see if it's made here. There is also a better Goodyear tire than the marathon. I can't remember the number for it's name. I know someone else on the forum will know what it is.
Have you had any other problems? I had to replace the kitchen faucet, more china junk. I've had the back right slideout worked on twice for a misalignment that rubbed off the seal.

It is great if Goodyear is making their Marathons in the US again. We had a set on our old fifth, before everyone moved their tire factories to China, and we had 20,000+ miles on them. they were still on when we sold the camper 10 years later!

It is the Unisteel® G614 RST®, but I think it is only available for 16" wheels.

It does have 16" wheels. I was also considering the GY G14's. I just want something strong and dependable. And NOT made in China.

@GSF63 outside kitchen faucet went bad on last trip. No water shut off valves so water continuously leaked, and leaked in to the back bed rm floor. Outside kitchen slide out has been adjusted once. All in all its been just small things.

I was going to change the tires on my 355QBQ as well, but traded it for a 365SAQ. I then put Goodyear G614s on it with a TST monitoring system. I like the look of the 614s..and by the way, each GY was several pounds neavier than each of the bombs that came off of it. I then went and purchased a new spare wheel from Tredit Tire and mounted one of the take offs. On long trips, I now carry two spares. Sure they are not the GYs, that's why I carry two. That should get me to a tire dealer.

I know it has been awhile since this post but what did you do about replacement tires? We have the same camper except I don't have the outside kitchen. My Sierra 355QBQ came with Duro tires and I have had a lot of problems with tennis ball sized bubbles at the edge where the tread and sidewall meet. i was thinking of replacing the ST235/80R16 E with ST235/85R16 F tires. I just don't know which brand.

Michelin, Duravis, Bridgestone and Goodyear all have tires that will work fine on your unit. Also, the Sailun tire has been getting a lot of buzz lately.
