Was it a slide out roof they replaced or the main roof?

It was the slide out roof where that damn Sirius Radio antenna is located. Then they readjusted the slide so I had more clearance. The sweeper will still work.

FR product

We love our Columbus Rv had a few problems but dealer took care of it right away. We had a few other problems when we got to AZ they hooked us up with a dealer to fix them left for one day and they fixed them.
Buying from the right dealer is the key. We bought from Cheyenne Rv in Iowa and will buy our next one there. We have owned for over 1 1/2 and had outside water filter casing brake they overnighted me one in Az for FREE they are awesome. Can call them and they are always happy to help.

36 post in and I have seen opinions, points and facts but nary a flame.

Is it possible other people's definition of a "flame war" are vastly different than mine?

I realize this will win me no fans from the moderator pool but if this thread has been glanced at with even a raised eyebrow I would say some are a bit uptight.

We did quite a bit of research on several brands & heard very good things about Forest River, which is why we chose it. Unfortunately, we did not know about this forum until after we had made the purchase.

We are taking the trailer in to the dealer for warranty work on October 1 (the first chance that we finally have to get it there). Hopefully they will get everything fixed. I am wondering though if I should go ahead and contact Forest River directly to report the issues. Would it make a difference?

I would.I have a family member who recently bought a 2014 365saq and had a laundry list of problems. He contacted forest river directly. They had a driver come and tow it back to indiana I believe or where ever the hq is.All repairs were done there and then towed back by driver to his house in connecticut.

That is good service to have it delivered from factory to CT.

Would GM or Ford do that? Have never heard of it.

I think the discussion of flame wars started to clarify why some of these vent threads get closed. I don't think anyone is saying this thread is a flame war.
