Sierra 365SAQ
Hello to all!
Just purchased a 2013 Sierra 365 saq. Very excited about using it in the spring! Being here in Western Canada the unit will be sitting at the dealer unit late April. I am looking for a list of suggestions of what I should look for when we pick it up? Common problems you have seen that maybe can be corrected before we go on our first trip!
Looking forward to everyone's feedback!
Also new to this forum.
Cheers
Dan

Google for a RV PDI Checklist for use during your "demo"/"walk through". There are a few. I had one and it reminded me of all sorts of things that I wouldn't have done otherwise (like using the heat in the middle of summer and finding the furnace didn't work). Expect to spend 3-4 hours on your walk-through with a checklist like this.

Congrats on the purchase of the 365! The best floor plan around for those of us with kids!

Congratulations, you are probably just as excited as we are to finally get it. The dealer told us the walk through woI uld take a couple of hours when it comes in April.

Good afternoon to all.
We just completed our PDI yesterday afternoon.
Went thru all the major systems with no problems. The only items we found was a few drawers needed to be adjusted. The dealer did a great job and answered all our questions and promised to have all the issues fixed for pick up day May 2/13. We spent about 3 hours to PDI.
I almost forgot the size of the unit. Really looking forward to our first weekend at the lake.
Thanks everyone for the feedback and information provided. You all helped make the decision easier !
A couple of addons we purchased:
JT Strong arm stabilizers
Front skirt-done by the dealer
Towel rack and picture/ towel rack from main bathroom to put in 2nd bathroom
Extra set of throw pillows for couch.
There are a couple of little annoying things I found:
The light switch for main living area is in cupboard on control panel. The switch on wall is for awning plug. I see there was another post that this can be switched easily.
No base for the TV that comes with unit. I want to use this tv for the bunkhouse .
No light in front compartment. The tech labeled the wire so I can install one. He mentioned he would throw one in if he had time.
That's a wrap. Just wanted to give some feedback.
Cheers
Dan

Congratulations on the good PDI. I hope you have many wonderful camping memories out your rig! These things are beasts, but they are nice!

Congrats!! Curious, have they fixed the fold down bunk yet? I'm sure you will enjoy yours as much as we do!
