Slide Issue 376BHOK

I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone else is having a similar issue with their slides. In reading some of the previous posts, I understand it's normal for the slides to come in with a different sequence based on resistance and for slides to partially come in and stop, but I have had various slides and the landing gear just stop all together and the switch go dead for about 10 seconds. It sounds like a relay is tripping near the hydraulic pump and when is resets I can finishing pulling in the slides and/or landing gear. Does anyone know if this is normal or something I should take to the dealer? I know is sad, but I trust this forum more than the dealership. Thanks in advance for any help. --Chuck

I'd suspect the circuit breaker is tripping for some reason, that's the click you hear and cause for the delay.

One of two things, either you have a faulty circuit breaker (too small, or opening too early) or your pump motor is drawing too much current.

But it's not normal, so I'd take it to the dealer before it just quits.

Check your battery. My neighbor had the same experience last season on his fiver. I think the battery wasn't holding enough charge, Abba that caused a voltage drop, which raised amp draw and popped auto resetting fuses. After replacing the Two fuses and battery, all was well again.

Had the same thing with my last RV. It would stop and after 10 seconds it would start again. My battery was charged and sometimes I left it plugged in but still did it. It's the relay out by the pump. I would put another relay or a bigger one on it. It resists itself and that's why it works after 10 seconds.

I had the same problem. When I stopped at Sandpiper factory in Goshen Indiana. They gave me a new busbar with 2 50 amp breakers attached.

I do have this issue but only in cold weather(temps below 0 Celsius) I figure mine is due to the hydraulic fluid being thicker and the pump having to work harder to push it through the system. Works fine when the fluid is warm. Could yours be a temp issue?
