Tank light, battery display pad

I have a 2001 Sierra light trailer my my tank and battery display panel is a push button panel shows the level of all the tanks in the charge on the battery stop working all of a sudden. Check the fuses, fuses are all good, what am I missing what else should I check?

I have two of that type panel and mine does it intermittently. I usually have to "work" the buttons a few times and it starts working again. I thought about using contact cleaner but haven't tried it yet.
