Velcro
I have some light weight signs I want to hang around the camper but would never screw into the side of the camper. Has anyone tried using Velcro and apply to the side of the gel coat? I am sure it will hold. My question is would it ruin the gel coat finish. Any thoughts or alternatives are appreciated.

If the surface of your RV is flat, could you use suction cups instead with the light weight signs. They wouldn't leave marks that couldn't be wiped off.

Why not mount them on the posts around that awesome deck?
Mount them on that left side of the actual bar itself?
Or, you could stain and trim out a sheet of plywood and put that behind the bar to mount the signs on.

Weezer. Thanks for the compliment on the deck. Many hours to build as they have to be built in 4x8 sections. However I am happy with the (almost) finished product!
I thought about building some supports and hanging the signs. I also considered hanging fishing net and hang signs from it. It is on Cape Cod to the nautical theme does make sense.
I'll send updates pics of whatever I decide.

Velcro adhesive can get kinda nasty usually after you feel off the Velcro most of the adhesive stays on whatever it was on the. You are doing to either scraping or heating and wiping to remove and at that point could very easily damage your finish. If the adhesive does decide to stay intact it could then damage your finish while removing. I would skip wanting to stick them on the side of your unit. Or like said above try some suction cups. Probably fall off more then stay up but could be worth a shot.

X2 Might have to find them on Amazon, no one around here carry's them anymore, but they hold a substantial amount of weight and they work great.

X2 on the fish net, it would break up all the white behind the bar. Deck looks great, good job.

X3 Around here Walmart / Lowes / Home Depot had them haven't looked lately . They had a removable velcro but have only used them inside. Not sure how they would work outside.

We use the command strips all over inside. They have big hooks for things like brooms, coat hooks, utensils, etc. I've used suction cups on the gel coat that have worked fine. The command strips won't hurt the gel coat at all. Would be careful with signs possibly blowing in the wind and banging/rubbing against side though.
