Our fifth wheel is leaking like this too. Hubby just used self-leveling LAP sealant on the roof, as well as non-leveling LAP on the corners where the gutters are. We removed the plastic trim underneath the nose cap (on both the left and right sides) and see water slowly dripping out with some rusty screws along the metal seam (that holds the nosecap to the body). I hope to God we've discovered the cause of the leak, because we really can't afford to take it in to get it professionally done since we purchased ours from a private party.

I used two tubes of Geocel 28100v Pro Flex Crystal Clear RV flexible sealant to caulk both sides of the cap, marker lights and everything that I could see that looked like it might leak. I have learned, from this experience, to take nothing for granted when it comes to what the "Factory" is supposed to do. I really love our camper but I believe that Forest River is letting us down when it comes to really checking out their work on these campers.
We too had serious water coming out where the front jacks are. Especially when we hooked up the camper to take it back to dealer to get window leaking fixed. Have you had anymore water issues since you resealed front end?

I have not seen any more water coming from the nose section of our Sierra since I sealed it. We have been to a lot of different CG and the camper has been through some pretty heavy rain. We have even washed the camper twice since then with no leaks that we can see. I hope that this helps you with your camper. You just need to really seal the front cap good and use good sealer. The tape that I used was also a good idea. I even bought a new roll of it just to take with us when we go camping. In case we see any water where it should not be.

Happy camping.

2015 371rebh. Used it this weekend, have noticed the same issue with water coming out when moving the jacks. Looked in my front closet and found that the shelf with the clothes rod had been wet. Its compressed wood so now it's swollen and broken up....

I got pounded in a hailstorm that knocked out both of my roof vents, but the front cap is still dry.

You have to inspect and repair your roof and seams at least once a year starting from the first time you bring it home. Dicor is cheap and easy. Eternabond works well also for a longer lasting repair. No seam/protrusion sealer works indefinitely.

this makes me mad. I had this issue and FR denied the claim based on the dealer not maintaining the seals on the lot since it had sat for awhile

its a NEW trailer regardless. I shouldn't leak for 90 days

This is definitely a warranty issue.
The point of entry could be as far as 10' away where you would least expect it, don't ignore the slideout openings as potential culprits.
