water on floor at bottom of steps

I have a 2006 sierra 5th wheel model f325. Have been in it two weeks hooked up to city water. Twice, not related to rain, there has been very wet carpet at the bottom of the steps. The first time it was wetter on the left side and the second time wetter on the right. Any ideas.

Welcome to the forum!

Have you looked in the basement area for any water on the floor near the back of the steps? There's lots of plumbing water and drain lines in basement area and perhaps you have a connection that's leaking.

thanks

Thanks. The issues were in the basement. This 5th wheel is new to us and the other trailers had no basement.
