What are these for

Have a new to us 2011 355QBQ these are on the side not in any position to hold awning rods in my opinion. One has a cap the other is probably in a ditch only it knows where. The cap reads Thule same as my kayak rack. The part they are attached too is not very strong Click image for larger version

Those are Thule Pods - attachment points. Either someone had one of the storage solutions or a Thule add-a-room.

They are hard bolted on for something to clip too if I had to guess not that heavy though.

There both behind the doors and the front isn't in any position to line up with the awning that is on the other side of the door the front one is under the outside fridge cubby.

The "Thule POD System" was more or less a dud endeavor by Thule. Several camper manufacturers included their gear for a year or two. Here's and example of what can be hung from them:

Cargo Management | RV Supplies

The pods basically are anchor points for webbing belts.

Thanks for the info problem solved remove and install something more useful like a plug for the holes.
