2013 MAXX 261RGX EXT light

I just purchased a used 2013 MAXX 261RGX. There is no ext light on the driver side but a big black sealed cover is located where I would expect one. I didn't want to break the seal if nothing is there but if that cover enclose a pre-wired circuit for an exterior light I will. There is a slot (no switch) in the control panel for such a light. I didn't see an extra wire but really didn't know what to look for. If the wiring is there I would like to add the light. Anyone know if Forest River pre-wired these fixtures?
