28RLS

Hello ,
new couple to the life. Bought a 2015 RAM 2500 6.4 hemi . Love the truck. My dealer of choice just left me a message that she has a
28RLS that just came in for us to look at.
Looks like a good layout and something we can live with.
My questions are about the Forest River product, it's durability, it's product quality and quality control. Anything positive and negative would be appreciated.
We will be out traveling anywhere between 1 week at a time to being out for 2-3 months at a time. Thank you all so much for your help. Love these forums.

We have been rv'ing since 1970 and have owned 12 rv's including 3 diesel pusher motorhomes, a Sprinter Class B motorhome and 3 travel trailers plus a few others along the way.
Our last 2 rv's have been Forest River travel trailers, Wildcat MAXX units to be exact. We actually owned our 29' Cat for a year and traded this Spring for a 33' Wildcat Maxx 28RKX. The best recommendation I can give is that after a year, we thought enough of the Forest River product that we didn't even look at or consider any other manufacturers or Brands.
Both Wildcats performed VERY well with only a minimum of problems and the quality, although like every other rv on the market, is not perfect, is MUCH better than most. As a matter of fact, the Wildcat's have been a dream to own and use compared to my Gulfstream, Monaco, and Tiffin motorhomes. The value for the $$'s spent is outstanding and I highly recommend Forest River units. If I were shopping for another travel trailer, Forest River products (especially Wildcat MAXX) would be at the top of the list.
As a side note, our son has owned a Forest River travel trailer for 3 years, and has almost no issues with it and luv's it!
