2nd air conditioner

I have a 344qb which I believe is prewired to add a second ac. What type or brand is needed for this?

What year is your Wildcat. Our 2013 was prewired and we had a 13.5 low profile Coleman installed with top feed not ducted so all the controls are mounted on the lower blower assembly.

I assume that you have 50amp power service?

Our 344QB was prewired also. I put a 13.5 non ducted dometic unit and it's the non low profile unit. That makes the camper pretty tall but the dealer didn't have the low profile in stock. We were at the lake and the camper wasn't dropping below 80* (no shade), so I took what they had and installed it while at the camp site. Also check past the air vent ttowards the front of the camper in the bedroom.I bet it isn't blocked off and a lot of air is being forced down the nose cap.

My advice is to get a low profile unit it will save you about 4-6 inches in height. When I bought our 312bhx I told the dealer to add the second AC and they never gave me the option of a low profile so I was not aware of it. Which is bad research on my part.

thought about putting one in our 344qb but the summers in MI don't seem to get hot enough and the single works just fine for us
