317rls?

I am an owner of a Rockwood that has just not worked out for me. I am currently interested in the 317RLs. I would appreciate any feed back you can give me.

From a floorplan perspective and I'm not sure if this matters to you- it looks like you wouldn't be able to get to the bedroom with the slide in.

Yes, a person would have to climb over the bed. On my current unit you can't get in the bedroom at all. Can be a nuisance at times but not a problem to hit a button and the slide goes out quick enough. Having access to the frig would be nice.

I am not sure about the slides on this one. I am assuming they are hydraulic, if so I did not notice a place to lock out a slide if you don't want to open it.

You can likely send a message to Wildcat Chris to find out if they're electric or hydraulic. I think there is an "Ask the Wildcat Factory" thread out there.

Didn't mean to hijack your thread right from the get-go. Are you sure you can even open the door with the slide in? If so, going over the bed isn't a problem- we deal with that with ours and haven't ever felt it a hassle. I notice because where we park our camper at home for loading, we have to watch how we park in relation to a tree - that dictates if we can put our bedroom slide out or not.

From what I could tell from looking at the floor plan bedroom access looks to be almost out of the question. But, we have found over the years that the important things to have access to during travel with the slideouts in are the frig and the bathroom which it looks as though you do on this plan.

On our 353LS the two lower slides are hydraulic and the bedroom slide is electric. However, things do change from year to year.

Thanks for the replys.

We did check the slides in issue last night and the bedroom is off limits with the slide in.

We also noted that the slides cannot be locked out and open in a sequence. Is it possible to add a lockout for the individual slide similar to a Silver Back and if so what would the cost be looking like?
