5th Wheel Hydraulic switch question

So I picked up a 2006 Wildcat 5th Wheel. I pretty much have most if not all but one thing figured out on operations of the beast... The hydraulic pump in the front that operates the front jacks and slide out. There is a white Rocker switch mounted right on the same plate as the motor.... not sure what its purpose is. Also there is a canister to the right with an adjustment screw underneath that is hooked to the hydraulic system.. what is that for?

Thank you so much.. if you need photos I can get some in a day or so

Thanks,

Adam

The white rocker switch is to allow you to open and close the slides from the service bay if needed. I'm not sure what you're talking about with that canister, could it be the oil reservoir for the hydraulic system? A picture would be help full.

With out a picture I would guess that the adjustment screw you are asking about is a small valve to shut off the operation of the slide or something. When closed you can operate the hydraulic system without operating the item this valve controls.

I'm going to guess that it is the device that allows the multiple slides to open/close in sequence with one switch..........I forget what it's called.

Just a guess.

BC, see if post #2 above confirms your guess.

Well........not sure. Mine (which has failed totally and is in the shop!!!) has 3 canisters next to the reservoir. Two are for right/left hydraulic jacks. The 3rd one is for the slides. However, there is a separate 4th smaller canister connected via line to the top of the reservoir......and that is (I've been told) the device (it has a name, it escapes me) that says "Close bedroom slide first, close dining room next, then kitchen". It's not some program, it's mechanical.......

And that's all I know about it, and is subject to being way off base!

I just know mine ain't workin' at the moment!
