Wow! Replaced vinyl in kitchen? Mind if I ask why? I'm just hunting for possible issues to look for when she arrives next week. Dealer is going through it thoroughly this week.

it had a small tear from the factory, the dealer had a company come in and did a great job replacing it. the tear was about the size of a half dime I could not see it but the wife did

I just finished troubleshooting a PIA (pain in the *****) electrical issue: the factory improperly crimped the connector on the main 12v feed from the batt to the panel. Instead of correcting the issue by replacing the connector they just trimmed some strands off the 6ga wire and shoved it back into the used connector. Everything looked good but the connectivity was intermittent so the battery would not recharge on shore power and the 12v systems would not work off the battery. While chasing the entire run underneath the camper the wire fell away from the connector and I was able to find and fix the issue. You might do a quick tug/jiggle on all the exposed connectors you can access.
Just another Saturday I'll never get back...

tv lift
Chris, hoping you can help me. We have a 2012 Wildcat 313RE that has the tv in the living area that is lifted up from behind the fireplace. The lift has a broken gear on it. When I went to the Lci1 site they showed a Shwintek lift that is not like the one in our unit. I did not see any manufacturer name on the lift. I was hoping to find a replacement gear instead of replacing the entire unit. Could you help me identify the mfg of the unit and possibly locate a vendor I could purchase the gear from?
Thanks
Dennis

Chris, spoke with Kyle at Forest River and he informed me that the mfg was Smith Richards. I spoke with Dave at Smith Richards and he is going to snd me a replacement unit. Very impressed with how fast they responded and how well they stood behind their product.

We do try hard to partner with suppliers that stand behind their products and source and build domestically. I'm happy to hear they took care of you.
FYI: This is the link to the TV lift:

Current Build Time?
Chris, Do you know current build time for a 5th wheels? I ask as I ordered one at the end of March and the dealer as of two days ago didn't know ETA on any units from factory. Thanks Chris

I'm in the same situation. I would think they should have a ETA by now. I wonder if our units are being held back as wildcat tries to get this new floor plan that Chris is talking about, out to dealers. I hope we aren't being held back by this new floor plan. We won't be very happy if we have to start to cancel sites that we have booked.

The model I ordered is already out to the dealers, 327CK. A local dealer has one on the lot but it's not the interior we want so we had to order. Plus that unit had been used at a large RV show with I would guess thousands may have walked up the steps. I guess I'm funny, I'll buy a used house but not a house on wheels, got to be factory fresh. I know what you mean by wait time and the summer schedule, we have already paid our yearly on the main park we use but have sold our other trailer, leaving us homeless for now. Maybe Chris can start shaking the tree a bit to let them know at the factory we are waiting. Chris & Wendy

We ordered the 312BHX and the same reason. We didn't like the interior of the one at the dealer. I guess wildcat is rolling out a whole new floor plan to the dealers in the next two weeks. That's what I was saying about yours and ours might be getting pushed back.

Well I hope they don't change the floor plan for 327CK as we looked at about a million 5th wheels (not really, it just seems like it). That was the one that had what I wanted and what Wendy wanted the best. Next one was a Rockwood but we liked the Wildcat just a bit better. Chris & Wendy

Please contact your dealer directly and ask them to call the factory for an update. At this time of the year, build times are typically 8 weeks out, not including delivery times (which differs by dealer)!

I can assure you this is not the case! We've continued to build other floor plans as we roll out the new 303BHX! Please contact your Wildcat dealer and ask them for an update from the factory!

Thanks Chris. I received happy news today that our trailer is sitting at the dealership as we speak. Now we just work out the paperwork and down the road we go. Thanks Chris & Wendy

I have a 2005 Forest River Wildcat 29 Foot, with 2 slide outs. Have a problem, as the pilot light on our water heater will not go out. Is there an adjustment somewhere on the water heater to adjust it so the pilot light will go out. We are stumped on this one and cannot locate it.
