Here are the questions:
  1. Is the 2nd bedroom AC on this model ducted?
  2. If I order now, will the 282RKX have the new NXG Frame? The rep said that it should.
  3. Do the models coming from the factory have the TV on a swing/swivel arm? The one at the show didn't.
  4. Does the utility area have the water heater bypass/winterization valves in it? The one in the show didn't.

Thanks again!
Matt
1. The 2nd AC location is dual-ducted. All Wildcats are setup this way!
2. Current 282RKX models have the NXG frame now (made by BAL)! New 282RKX orders will also now include our exclusive drop frame build (like the 295RSX)!
3. All Wildcat models being built today have a lockable swing arm on the main TV.
4. The docking station changes took place in late fall. ALL newly built Wildcat units have the new setup!

Does that mean that the 282rkx has a 60 gallon tank or a 50 gallon tank with a 10 gallon water heater?

All fresh water tanks on current Wildcat production is 50 gallon capacity. A 10 gallon water heater is standard too. Total fresh water capacity is 60 gallons (this is industry standard for fresh water capacity measurements: FRESH + WATER HEATER).

wildcat 293REX TV mount

I have a 2013 293REX. The TV mount in the living area has broken for a second time. The first time I did not look at any of it. I just took it back to the dealership to fix it. This was our first outing in it. The mount has broken for a second time. This time I took a closer look at what happened. On the inside of the entertainment center I found part of one of the gears that raises and lowers the TV. I noticed the gear is plastic. Can this gear be replaced with a metal one so I won't have to go through this again?

Chris,
Closing a deal on a 2014 Wildcat 327ck this week. We have been looking at it since Goshen. Now I need to find a truck to pull it.
Does the washer/dryer combo set up have a dryer vent? I didn't see any pics of a vent.

Congrats! Welcome to the Wildcat family!

I believe there is vent access through the floor -- I know they put a sticker on the underside of the bedroom deck showing the intended location. Please let me know if you need more information and I'll get with my crew here...

Wildcat Chris,

My wife and I are in the process of moving from a 2013 Rockwood to a 2014 317RLS. My quest is concerning the slides. This model does not offer the ability to lock out one slide or another like some of the FR products do. Can you tell me if it would be possible and affordable to add an ICR valve similar to the Silver Back?

Thanks

Yes, it is possible to add manual controls to the hydraulic slide system. I'm unsure of cost, but send me a private message with you complete contact information, VIN# (if you have it yet), and the name of the Wildcat dealership you're purchasing from so I can assist further...

Chris, what's the release date of these new Wildcats? I have been looking for a new 5er for about a year and want to exhaust all options prior to heading to glacier first 2 weeks in July. I intend to buy between now and June.

Hi Chris, we are in the process of buying a 2014 Wilcat. The panel around the pin box seems unfinished like there is a piece of trim missing leaving a pretty large gap around the pin box. I looked as several of the other Wildcats sitting on the lot and they all looked that way. Is there some kind of trim piece that can be found to cover this up?

2015 Wildcat units are now currently in production. I'll be working with our webmaster to get the Forest River web site updated, but new model year (and a few new features like 4-step entry and Maxxis tire upgrade) are live in production now.

I went out and inspected this on the line today and couldn't see what you're seeing. The panel around the pinbox I looked at was screwed into the framing above and was snugged up well to the pin box. I'll talk with my plant manager about this and see if we've changed something in this area...

Thanks for the reply Chris. Just an FYI, the techs at the dealer I am working with used a door window frame with one end trimmed off. It fit the pin box perfectly and looks great.

WOW!!!! You folks don't take a break do you. Ask the people what they want and you deliver it ASAP with a new production year early on.

This is part of what makes the Wildcat have the following and repeat customer base that it has and that makes it Forest Rivers #1 product.

Great Job!!!!!!

We just picked up our factory ordered Wildcat and was pleased to find out it was a 2015. You mention the four step entry, but our's is a three step. Is the four step a special request? I was really surprised they put a three step on our unit because the first step is about 10"-12" off level ground, which is a pretty good step for even me and I'm 6'4", my wife is 4'11", so it's a heck of a step for her.

We also have the regular tires, but I would think the Maxxis would be an upgrade anyway.

Overall, we are very pleased with our 327CK. We really, really like the larger windows in the 2015 and the huge basement storage in the 2014/2015 compared to the 2013's. Little touches like the stainless back splash and appliances is nice, as well as all of the LED lighting.

Chris,

A request for the web site update...the 2014 312QBX specifications still show TBA for the Dry Hitch Weight and a couple of other specifications. We recently purchased a 2014 312QBX and knowing the dry hitch weight would be helpful.

The page is here:
Wildcat Fifth Wheel by Forest River

Thanks,

Bob...

Chris,

Bought our Wildcat 344 QB about a month ago. Dealer didn't have the couches in the rear bunk room and said they would be ordered and shipped direct immediately. We still haven't received them and wondered if you can help.

Thanks
