The pin box is a Lippert 1621 (correct AVid, thanks!).

Forest River customer service can be contacted at: (574) 206-7600

Dry weight (I guess this would be the trailer weight as it comes from the factory).

GVWR (owner thinks it is 11K but isnt sure)

Trailer length (owner is not sure if it is 28 or 30 ft).

tongue weight

I will be pulling it with a 2000 Ford F250 SuperDuty and want to make sure that my truck will pull the weight safely.

Thanks in advance.
I find it hard to believe the owner has no idea about these numbers unless he found the camper in his driveway one day.

Have you seen the title? Double check the title's VIN with the one stamped into the frame. "Danger, Will Robinson!"

East Coast Wildcats? Are they extinct?

Just purchased a 2012 wildcat TT 31bhs, was nosing around the FR site and noticed that they do not offer any TT's for the east coast. What gives?

Lug nuts

Why do some 5th wheels have 6 lug nuts & some 8 when weight is nearly same?

Wildcat's travel trailer production from the Elkhart ("East Coast"), IN, facility has been discontinued as of last fall. The eXtraLite 31BHS was very popular while being produced, but new management decided to shift Wildcat's focus to fifth wheels ONLY for now. However, these things can change quickly!

Wildcat travel trailers are still readily available from the Oregon Wildcat plant ("West Coast"). They had a banner year of growth on travel trailers!

Your Forest River warranty work is able to be done at a wide variety of RV dealers. However, each dealership handles this differently. You may want to call your closest dealership to check. If not, please send me a private message with your contact information and I'll get you a list of dealers that could help you on the service side!

In the case of floor plans where weight is nearly or exactly the same, some manufacturers use 8 lug nuts for marketing reasons ("more is better" right?). The same is done on axles (5200 lbs. vs. 6000 lbs.), where the larger axles really only get you more (in most cases unneeded) cargo carrying capacity. I just spoke with our wheel supplier and his exact words were "8 lug wheels on Wildcat would be overkill."
