ted, is that a aftermarked kit to relocate the tire because mine is also on the bumper and I have the same bike hitch you have and I cant carry bikes with only one platform. I do have a factory 2inch hitch but, I do not want to buy a hitch for that

I have the exact same bike rack as Ted. For the moment, I have moved the spare tire to the front storage compartment. If I can find Ted's spare tire mount, I will move it under the trailer.

I think Lippert makes and sells a spare tire mount/crank down system.

I'd be interested to see more pics of the spare tire mount. And how it attaches to the trailer.

I though about moving to the downstairs storage but I do not want to give up the space I want it in front of the stabs in the rear because I am getting real close to overloading the trucks axle with pin weight

My dealer did it for me at a reasonable cost. I'll ask how how he did it the next time I go by his location. The dealer did give me the Wildcat post and clamp that was not used in his mod. The dealer also gave me the long crank to lower the tire. Good dealer.
As noted in another post, I'm sure the spare could be located behind the axles instead of in front. The mod has to be mounted on a cross beam.
Hope this helps someone because I read a lot of the mods for ideas.
I'll be at the 2nd International F.O.R.G. Rally in August. Hope to meet some of the "old heads" and others. Look for my blue lights.

Here is a picture of the attachment. It looks like a kit with a small mod. The mechanic welded a small angle iron in four places to the bracket where the tire is against the bracket in the stowed position. There is also a rod that extends to the outside trailer main beam so one can lower the cable. I misspoke when I said I got a crank from the dealer. That was on a previous trailer. I can lower the tire with a 1 inch wrench because there is a bolt on the end of the lowering rod.

We have traveled about 10,000 miles with this mod last year with no problems. You can have a personal look at the August FROG Rally. We will be only one out of over 300 campers.

Waiting for replacement parts for over a year.

We have a 2010 32bh2b that has been at the dealer's more than it has been in our driveway. We have been waiting for replacement parts for over a year now (mainly interior cabinet doors that fell off during first trip, replacement valves for gray and black water, etc). Now an exterior compartment door was torn off in an accident. We leave for a camping trip in 2 weeks and I know there isn't a way for our dealer to fix the exterior door in time for our trip. We CANNOT go on this trip without that door.

We are more than capable of replacing the door ourselves. Where can we find the replacement door? There must be some way we can order the part ourselves without having to cancel our one and only vacation so we can wait another year for replacement parts.

Someone please help.
