Hi tedstr, could not sleep, looking forward to seeing you at the Goshen rally, somewhere, in that vast ocean of FR RV's, Sue & I will be the ones in the Puss & Boots RV. Want to see your drop down tire mod. & have a beer, maybe I will tell you how we got our name, if you are interested.

AJ 72, I am sorry, I did not catch if you had a 5th wheel or not, if you have a 5th wheel, did you think of getting a bike rack for your pin, I have one for 2 bikes & I know they sell them for 4 bikes, I am bringing mine to the Goshen Rally & yes it is for sale or swap, in case you are interested. I am looking for a sewer carrier case to put my Rhinoflex sewer kit into, it does not fit into my bumper, so maybe we can help each other, if not come & check it out & have a beer, Sue & I will be looking forward to seeing you at the Rally & anyone else, not sure if I will have enough beer, but there is always water, you can check out my mod's.

Has anyone looked at how to convert a manual light oven to electric ignition?

OldCoot is quite inventive and talked about it here:
Replacing Piezo starter with battery powered

Not sure if he did it or not.

(I've noticed other 5th wheels have the spare tire located there).
As a change for 2014 models, Wildcat now locates the standard spare tire in this location.

Now an exterior compartment door was torn off in an accident. We leave for a camping trip in 2 weeks and I know there isn't a way for our dealer to fix the exterior door in time for our trip. We CANNOT go on this trip without that door.

We are more than capable of replacing the door ourselves. Where can we find the replacement door? There must be some way we can order the part ourselves without having to cancel our one and only vacation so we can wait another year for replacement parts.

Someone please help.
Please send me a private message with your full contact information (phone and email) including your Wildcat's VIN# and the name of your local Wildcat dealer and I'll forward this on to our service department!

Thanks for the compliment. Need any other ideas? I'm sure this forum has many. Thanks Chris for being a part of this forum.

Hi Chris, so far the 344Qb has been fantastic. 2 trips in and about 350 miles logged. Just one issue that stares me in the face every time I look at the trailer. The caulking around the outside kitchen, and other areas too, is very poorly applied. I have read several posts in here about that and was hoping to add to it so that you might be able to track down and fix the quality control issue. I am scheduled to have her back to the dealer shortly and will have them re-caulk everything. That way it will be taken care of. I just think something so visually obvious should be seen on the factory floor.

Hi Chris, I have 2 questions for you. Is it true that my 2013 Wildcat Extralite 293 REX doesn't have a water filter??? I can't find one anywhere.

Also are the parts available to covert my spare tire to go underneath like the 2014 models?

Something for Wildcat to consider :

Is it possible to put a sink in the outside kitchen?
The counter is more than big enough as only the left drawer is made into a drawer. The right side "drawer" is boarded up.
There was a sink in our last travel trailer outside kitchen but it wasn't part of a slide.
I'm sure having the plumbing slide in and out is part of the issue.
Either way, we LOVE our 344qb
As big as it is, we'd love it to be even bigger.
