My guess would be Yes, as it would only make sense. However, if you will include the model of your Wildcat maybe someone could come along and be more specific.

You can try the finger push test. Push along the wall with your finger. When you get to the area where you think the backer board is, the wall will have way less give to it. Should be in the area around the cable hookup. I have also removed the cable hookup box and used a small mirror to look back there.

In my Wildcat 327ck above the bedroom window, next to the TV connections, is a backer board. I think it's a 1/2" plywood you can screw into. Mine had a sticker in the middle of it. My guess is to take a pin where you think it could be and push the pin to see if something solid is behind the wallboard.

Is Chris still around??

Jayco Bolstering Towable Product Development | RV Business

As said in the article, "Chris Barth was named senior product director for the Eagle line of travel trailers and fifth-wheels. Barth has over 18 years of experience in the RV industry. He began his career working as a supplier to the industry and spent the last five years with Forest River Inc., most recently serving as national sales manager for the Wildcat division."

If that's him, which fits the description, then he went to Jayco.

A few weeks ago Chris did stop in and pay his respects and inform us that he was moving over to Jayco. He did say that he would tell his replacement to check in here and keep us apprised as to what was going on with Wildcat and assist us in any way that he felt that he could.
However, I have yet to hear anything from Chris's replacement. While I sincerely wish Chris the very best as he move forward with his career, I hope that we don't become simply another forgotten non supported brand as a group of owners.

In the mean time, we can do our best to try and assist each other by sharing what knowledge that we can as a group. We have a vast amount of knowledge and information here within the current members lets unite and help one another.

Ok. Lots of people moving in the industry. First Sabre Sam, now Chris. Who's next? Both very respected and helpful people and I wish them the best regardless of where they work.

Both will be dearly missed. I haven't seen a replacement for either one on the boards yet.

In August I went for tour of the Wildcat plant with Chris and learned a lot about Wildcat. Felt good for buying my Wildcat after seeing the thought that is put into the RV. I know Chris will be missed.

Chris isn't with us anymore. He has a new position with another manufacturer. Unless I've missed it, so far his replacement has not joined us here. Chris helped out on his own time and his own choosing. The new guy may choose not to.

Yes, there are 2 gray water dump valves and 1 black.

OK.... I have had a visual on my tanks.... Had to repair some (factory) sliced wires.
All 4 of my tanks are the 'same' size.... All are : 37 us gallons each, not as listed on the paper work.

... and with 6 gallons in your water heater, your 37 gallons in your fresh water tank adds to a total of 43 gallons of fresh water capacity.

Help! Bought a 2010 wildcat 5er a couple of months ago. Older couple we bought from put very little mileage on it, less than 3,000 miles and excellent care and parked it due to health conditions. We took it out for the first time and stopped to check things out and notice one of rear hubs were hot. Pulled in at a Camping World and they replace wheel bearings and we bought a tire monitoring system and paid for install, which we realized did not work after we were on the road. Camped overnight, on way home we were flagged down by another driver and pulled over. That same wheel was about to fall off. Had a tow escort while we pulled off wheel and chained axle and limped to a tire shop. As now it sits there, unable to find discontinued brake drum. Camping World said they would pay for repair and towing and refund install fee for monitor. That's great but can't find parts and now reading horror stories about axles, bearings and tires going out. We only drove 110 miles when the replacement bearings disintegrated. Trying to contact original dealer, left calls to Forest River, just need help on what direction to go. Great fear that this thing is just going to self destruct. Not a happy camper.
