Different setup but we bought custom cut foam for our bunkhouse "mattresses" from http://www.foambymail.com.

I bought from them twice and found their prices and customer service to be fantastic.

Hi Chris,
I have a 2015 Wildcat Maxx 27ft and have a big problem with very little heat from the furnace. The dealer looked at it twice and then told me "live with it." I opened it up myself and found there is no escape for the hot air to get out of the hot air box. There is six four inch plugs on the top half of the furnace but no escape for the bottom. Please help. 208-866-6953.

Chris has left Forest River, just wanted to let you know so you're not waiting for a reply from him. Other members might be able to help.

Are you saying that FR never hook-up any 4" ducts to the Plenum at all? So there is no duct work at all to your furnace? Is there any duct work around it at all? What is hooked to your registers? It is normal to have 6 cutouts at the sides, nothing on the bottom. But there should be 4" duct runs connected. Is this what you are saying? There is still plugs without ducts at all?

On my fiver it sits under the stove and if you remove the screen it looks like nothing is hooked up but if you remove the front of the furnace it has the bottom front of the housing cut out and the duct is below it and tied in maybe yours is the same way?

It would appear to be someone who really doesn't care much about us Wildcat owners.

Oh that's a fair statement. NOT. No one at the factory level has any responsibility to even be aware of this forum or any other unassociated forum for that matter. Who ever the new person may be, we can only hope they someday pay a visit, but I don't think they owe it to any of us nor does it mean that they don't care for not showing up already.
Sorry if you don't agree, but that's how I feel and I don't think anyone deserves to be slammed possibly unknowingly.

We don't have anybody to step up since Chris left on the Forum yet. But I have found if you call the plant with questions they will try to get you an answer. I made a plant tour last summer with Chris and the plant manager and they were first class in pleasing us with information. I don't think was Chris was paid to be on the forum. He did it for the love of helping Wildcat owners.

I agree that the new Wildcat Rep does not have any "Duty" to check in and assist any of us here.

However, I was privileged to speak with Wildcat Chris on the phone just before his departure and journey over with Jayco. He told me that he had made his replacement aware of this great forum and it's members. And in so telling him to check in here often. Not just because he could be an asset to us, but that we were also a great source of information, feedback and knowledge for him, the brand and the parent company.

Truth is, the new Rep maybe doing a fine job with in the guidelines of what is expected from him from a corporate stance. I'm sure Chris did the same thing, but he also took advantage of resources outside the normal corporate walls of knowledge and impute by asking owners for their opinions and what owners would like to see in the future.

When I first started looking at the Wildcat brand I asked a few question here and Chris was prompt in replying. He also knew what dealership I was in talks with and contacted them to make sure there was an open line of communications if there was anything he could do to assist the dealership or me. It was this kind of customer service that brought me to become a Wildcat owner. After the sale there were a few issues that I contacted Chris about. He took the Bull by the horns and the matter taken care of even though the trailer had to be taken from Dallas to Elkhart to make it right.

So again, I do agree with you in the fact that the person who replaced Chris owes us no "Duty" of checking in. After all it could be pretty intimidating trying to fill the shoes of such a dedicated predecessor.
