I purchased a 2011 31T and have had the same problem. The dealer installed a 2nd AC in the front bedroom, which cools that room very well. However, unless your trailer is setup for dual zone it is extremely expensive to set up to run off 1 thermostat. I have Domestic Duo Therm as my second AC and it will cost about $540 to have a thermostat mounted on the wall in the bedroom. I hope this info helps.

We picked up our new wildcat fifth wheel and it only had one set of keys for the door, baggage doors, and storage compartments. Any ideas where we can get a second set of keys from?

Lowes made my baggage door keys. Not sure about the door key.

Your 344QB includes a forced option for 50 AMP service and 2nd AC prep. Your bedroom vent area is framed and pre-wired for a secondary AC unit of your choice -- talk to your Wildcat dealer about which options might work best. Some people opt for a lower profile unit in the 2nd location to keep the height down. You can also talk to them about the style of secondary AC control.

Exclamation JENSEN technical support!

The newest iPhones have a compatibility issue with digital video (but not audio) over the Jensen's HDMI connector -- it wants to use component video (CVBS) instead which you can do directly through the TV's component video inputs.

Please call Jensen directly for more assistance with this -- they're a great partner to Wildcat not only for their quality AV equipment but also their strong customer service:

1. Is there away of sucking out of a jug or pail from the water pump?
2. When i kick the pump in i can hear it running but not getting nothing at the kitchen tap??
3. Why on a new camper would there be 2/3 Fresh water in tank, 1/3 Holding tank and grey empty?? Is this just from dealer testing system?
4. Is there 2 holding tanks cause i have 2 bathrooms??

Thanks Chris!!!
1. Yes. There is an inlet on the pump itself.
2. Are you sure the water is running through the pump? I don't have enough info to assist you with this...
3. Perhaps there was some leftover from testing/prep at the dealership. It did not leave the manufacturing facility that way...
4. On all Wildcats, there are 3 holding tanks (1 50gal black, 1 50gal gray for galley, and 1 50gal gray for bathroom) with an additional black tank on units with a 2nd toilet.

Chris,

This message is more a customer feedback kind of thing.

My wife and I love our 2005 27BHWB, and while we are not currently in the market we are looking in prep for a couple years from now. The 312BHX looks to be the only usable floor plan for us since we have 3 kids, and we really like the floor plan due to length and weight.

However, there are some things missing that we would really miss.

First, the Central trash system. That one is something almost all our fellow campers are jealous of as their trash cans are in the living space getting knocked around. It looks like that is not available.

Second, The hydraulic landing gear has me hooked and makes for a quick setup. I really dislike the wait for the electric jacks.

Third, is there a reason why there is no storage about the entire slide, seems all manufacturers including all FR products did away with this.

Even without these options, the trailer looks like a top contender if it's still available when we are ready to replace our existing unit. However, we do wonder why these features were eliminated or can they be added upon order?

Thanks,

Joel

Hi Chris, can you tell me how far the front landing gear on my 2010 27RL Wildcat extend, and if there is a warning label or paint strip that warn when full extension is near? Thanks

i think you need to find a good RV shop. nothing the factory can do on a 11 year-old trailer. wouldn't be anything left that's warrantied.

the shop could contact the factory for parts.

I understand no warranty; Is there a known fix or is there a layout or print on the sides showing the supports ect. so we can tell where to repair to.

As recommended before, please see your nearest Wildcat or Forest River dealer for more assistance. They should be able to call in for anything they aren't familiar with!

Chris, We have a 2006 29 RLBS. Is the slideout frame made of wood or metal? The reason I ask is I have some delaminating in the corner of the living room slideout. I have found no leaks and with cabinets across the inside I see no water stains etc... On our trip last year we had a lot of condensation in the cabinets and especially in the area were the delaminating has taken place. Can you have delaminating without a leak? The delaminating is about 12 inches by 12 inches at the most. I did notice that the white covering on top of the slideout is not sticking anymore in that area(corner), but it is still attached and sealed good. Any ideas are welcomed.

Thanks, Tom

Wildcat's slide rooms use the same 2" vacuum-bond lamination process as our sidewalls. While alumimum framing is used, there is also wood present in the build.

I would recommend seeing a reputable Wildcat or Forest River dealer to further assess the situation. Obviously, water and moisture of any kind is our enemy. Hopefully, they'll be able to find a solution for you.

Hey Chris,

Just received our Wildcat Sterling 32RK Wednesday and could not be more thrilled!!!! We do have a couple of questions - we did not receive the CatSense feature on our entry door - is it not available on the 2013 models? Also, does the TV in the main living area pull out and/or swivel? We also ordered the TV mounted in the bedroom- how does the bracket work there? We are looking so forward to camping this weekend in our new camper!!!!

I'm happy to hear you got your Wildcat! Please post a photo of it here or on our Facebook page when you have a chance. CatSense was discontinued before the model change -- I do not have an exact date. The TV in the main area of the 32RK does not pull out or swivel; it's attached with an "H" bracket to the wall. I'm unsure what bracket was used in your bedroom to mount the TV as that's not a factory standard or option, but I'll ask the production team next week!

To get the tv out, you just lift straight up. I had to remove our tv last week. The H bracket has upside down tear drop cuts in it that the tv slides down into. I found that if you give it a quick jerk upwards it comes right out as it is tight.
