Glenn,

When i was talking to Herk at Goshen, I made mention I would like to get a copy of his library.

He said sure, just send me a portable 3 TERABYTE drive and I can copy it for you

Speaking of which Herk, after a "small incident" on the way back from Goshen...what Brand/Model of Dash Camera do you use?

Bought two "cheapies" at last year's rally and one failed. I replaced it at this year's rally with the f20 double camera car camcorder. Seems to work great with one wide angle "steerable" and one tight zoom "steerable" cameras.

Oh, I miss understood. I thought you wanted my "entertainment" library and not the Herkbrary. The Herkbrary sits right at 160 gigabytes right now.

Wildcat 337fb living room slide does not close properly. When I close the living room slide the whole thing closes right until half way. Then the top seemingly gets stuck (yes, I checked the roof and interior). It will look crooked and the floor inside lifts up on an angle. I then slide it back out about a foot or so and back in. So far that works, but is that a problem I should be concerned about?

Where you level when this happened? If yes then I would get it checked out.

Yes. I was level both times it happened. Both were leaving campgrounds, and I use a 4 foot level when I setup camp.

It looks like your still in warranty? Take it in you have to had to come out of adjustment. What kinda of slide is it, electric or hydraulic? There are some good u-tube under lippert slides take a look at them. That is not Normal what you have described. You might be able lay under it and have someone bring it in and see if you are seeing anything binding. Good Luck

plan

I'm going to have to use Google's translation for this!

I'd like to know if is possible to have electrical and location of water tanks for a 2014 Wildcat 282RKX. I reside in Quebec.

P.S. Something small to be improved, the 2 bedside tables are too wide and with bedding it's too tight. The sliding door could be higher than 3 inches to hide the dome light over the shower. The air intake of the floor near the door reaches below the chair. Thank you for taking time to read me.
This may be easier if you get your Wildcat dealership involved.

I do not have an electrical schematic available at this time.

On a 2014 Wildcat 282RKX, the water tank locations are as follows:
1. The 50 gallon fresh water tank is behind the rear axle.
2. One 50 gallon gray water tank is located in the rear under the kitchen.
3. The other 50 gallon gray water tank is located centrally under the bathroom.
4. The 50 gallon black water tank is located directly under the bathroom.

I hope this helps! Please use your local Wildcat dealer in Quebec for more assistance!

If I don't follow the requirements of the TPMS manufacturer my warranty with them will be no good. And on order to follow their requirements I need for Forest River to agree that 80PSI is what I need to have in E tires. I'm confident that they know at least that much about tires.

And, in answer to Crocus, after the experiences I've had and the battles I've lost regarding warranties on tires, there's no way I'll knowingly run those tires under-inflated. As I said earlier, the manufacturers all seem to use the same excuse, regardless of circumstances, because they know there's no way you can prove you weren't running them under-inflated.

Many thanks to both of you for your input. It's appreciated.
I have a 32RL Sterling, was coming home yesterday and had a blow out, had set my tire pressure at 75 psi before i left on the trip, tire stamping and FR says 80 psi. It was pretty bad and did some damage to my unit..this is what upset me the most. Has anyone had the same problem also is 75 psi to high, I do not want this to happen again.

Fading paint on 2013

Hello, I have a 2013 344QB with the grey cap. It is fading to white really bad on top. The unit is only 18 months old. I have been reading this is happening often. I know there is a year warranty on the camper, but 18 months for the paint to go bad is pretty bad. Will Wildcat re-paint this? It is a very common problem now.

I posted on that thread too. This has to be addressed by Forest river. I found over 300 similiar posts in 10 minutes time. I think they boo-booed and will have to be forced to cover this. I am willing to go in on a class action suit. I'll be damned if I pay this much for an item to have it fade like a cheap Tonka toy.

Hey cheap Tonka toy? I have my very first Tonka dump truck from the late 50's early 60's. That this is built better than any RV I have seen out there. It's has been dropped, banged up and beaten to death and the paint is still looking like new. No dents or bends. Americans made great stuff back then. They can make a cheap Chevrolet Volt just from the metal from that truck.

This is a warranty repair, I purchased a new 2012 32 RL Wildcat Sterling last October and had the same issue. They repainted the entire front cap and never gave me any problems about it.
