Question Back Up Camera

Can anyone tell me if my 2014 Wildcat 317RL is hard wired for a back up camera. How can I run the wiring if anyone knows. Thanks for any info.

I don't know about yours but my 2014 295RSX (came with a camera installed) has a 12vDC + line in the camera hole but the transmission to my monitor is wireless. Each end has an antenna.

I think some were if you look at the back of the trailer there is usually a fixture/box in the center up by the running lights. If not then I doubt it. If I were to put a camera on mine I would go with a wireless and power the camera from the backup lights That I installed. If I wanted the camera to work all the time I would wire it to the running lamps.

Our 2106 262rgx had a white plug covering a hole where the camera would go. Wiring was in that. I can't remember why, but when I installed a Furrion wireless camera, I could not use that wiring and just tapped into the running light just above it. So, the headlights or running lights have to be on for my camera work.

Now that I think about it, the wiring that was there may have been to connect it to the backup lights. I don't think I ever checked that because I wanted the camera to come on whenever I wanted it to, not just backing up.

If it's not wired for it, it is pretty easy to install a wireless if you just tap into your running light for power.
