Looking good I have had my wildcat for 6 months now been out 4 times and no problem I just had to learn how to fill the fresh water tank we love it have fun with it

NICE looking rig!! Like the fold down (Bike rack?) on the back - is that a option or a aftermarket add on?

Thanks everyone for the help making this decision. My wife and I are both happy with the choice. We liked the Silverback but we think it was built on a Friday or cursed! The bike rack was on the unit so don't know if dealer installed or factory but nice touch. There was a 2" receiver on the silverback that I bought a bike rack for. The Wildcat doesn't have a receiver on it so rack is nice touch. Thanks for the compliments on the rig! When we hooked up to it we noticed the truck matched and new this was meant to be!

Well dealer had rig for a month to install awnings over slides but look great. The bad thing is they were supposed to fix a few items that didn't happen. The standard answer is parts on order. Well we wanted to go to Beverly beach campground in Flagler beach fla for our 20 anniversary on May 5. So went and picked it up last week and packed it up and head over this past monday. Short trip from our house and took the two pups with us. Nice campground right on the beach so view is stunning. The weather wasn't great but made the best of it. Now the bad The microwave, electric water heater and fireplace is doa. This really made me angry as the dealer charges a large fee for PDI. I was already unhappy with the month the dealer had it. Service manager tried to trouble shoot over the phone and pretty much decided all need replacements. Now the question for y'all am I making a mountain out of a ant hill. I talked to owner of dealership today and chewed him out as I feel if a proper PDI had been done this would have been caught and repaired before our trip. Dealer said this is just teething problems with a new unit and thats what warranty is for and I need to expect this from any new unit. All this did was make me angrier as it is an hour and half drive thru Jax Fla traffic. We have a trip planned for early June to bowling green ky for hot rod reunion. I had hoped to get another short trip to make sure the bugs our out but the parts seem to come on a slow boat from China. Wonder if this was a mistake as I think we had worked all the bugs out of the Silverback and here we go again with bigger payments. I know one thing this is my last RV!

Am I wrong here, you had the dealer do the PDI instead of you
doing it along with a service tech or the salesman.

When we bought our 1st trailer then our Class C and 5th wheel
I had them turn everything on twice, leave it on for a period of
time and show me three times before I signed and drove off the
lot..

We had to put a roof on after 8 years but I'm still really happy
with the trailer and I didn't blame the MFG. life happens, I
replaced it along with some upgrade's out of pocket.

Like everything else things break, if you think that your trailer
is not going need some repair along the way you better buy a tent.
Doing DIY project fixing small repairs is part of owning a 5th
or travel trailer an is part of the camping experience

We traded out a 2 year old unit that trouble from day 1. The new Wildcat is much heavier than the former unit. Fortunately the truck can handle the extra load.
I hope your truck is also strong enough.

Looks like his definition of warranty differs from the standard definition : The most common kind of warranty on goods is a warranty that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This simply promises that the manufacturer properly constructed the product, out of proper materials. This implies that the product will perform as well as such products customarily do.
