Cabinet lift motor

I'm back again with my lift motor problem for the kitchen cabinet. It's on my 2010 29RLBS 5th wheel wildcat. Last few numbers of the VIN are avo22692.
So far I've replaced the lift motor and the clutch. The lift still operates in the down direction but will not lift the cabinet. Actually there's no noise from the unit when I activate the switch.
I noticed that the clutch appears to be a magenet and that the rear end of the shaft of the motor fits into the clutch. The slot the shaft fits into on the clutch seemed very tight. Is the motor shaft supposed to slide in and out of the clutch??
When attaching the wiring of the clutch into the electrical system I tried to make sure I connected the wires to the correct wires. No instructions were provided with the clutch or motor.
The attached a pic of the motor and clutch for lifting the cabinet.
I need your help in solving the problem and an explanation of how the system operates.
Thanks
Gene
