Cable hookups

We just purchased a 29rlx. Love it so far, but we can't figure out how to hookup cable from an rv park. The place we are staying now does not require a separate cable box. The antennae works fine as the dealer showed us how to use, but they could not show us how to use the cable.

Outside the camper we have 3 coax connectors, cable, and 2 labeled satellite. Inside behind the tv we have three coax hookups, TV, Aux/Sat, and one not labeled. I know the coax cable i have to the campground box works. I have tried all combinations of the hookups, set tv to digital, done channel scans, but we cannot get any cable channels.

Any suggestions?

Did you turn off the antenna booster?

It might look like this.

Press the little button to turn it off, light should go out.

I have owned 2 Wildcat 5th wheels, one a 2013 model and the other a 2016 model. Don't want to lead you wrong with our connections, but on both my rigs one of the exterior coax connections was in what I call the "utility cabinet" (where the water connects, dump handles are there, etc.) and the coax in that cabinet is intended for the inbound connection from the satellite or cable. However, I had problems with that input connection on both my trailers. From the factory, the conductor inside the cable was cut short so that it did not reach the splice connector. I had to disassemble the connection, Strip back the shielding to expose more of the conductor, and then reassemble. Again... Happened on both of my 313RE fifth wheels. I too thought that I was helpless to figure out how all the connections worked until I diagnosed that problem. After that, once I plugged in they all worked like a champ.

Did you go into settings on the tv and scan for available channels? This has to be done with every hookup.

I have a 29rlx. I was looking for the booster switch this weekend. Where is it? I installed a 32 inch tv in the bed room. I was getting a weak signal in both the living room and bedroom. Is the booster switch behind the living room tv? I did not look there.

Yes, mine is on the tv coax outlet. It is a small button next to the coax cable. A green light comes on if boosted. I dont have a boost button in the beadroom.
