Catsense??? and water pump questions

I own a 2012 Wildcat 29BHS and have a couple of questions. The camper has catsense lights, and we cannot figure out how they work. We end up flipping the switch inside and on the amber light, and eventually the light comes on. We don't usderstand how it is suppose to function.

Aslo, it is time to winterize, and I cannot find the water pump. Last year I used compressed air to blow water out of the lines, but would prefer to use antifreeze. Where is the pump located on our model?

I was hoping someone with a similar Wildcat would answer your questions but I guess that’s not going to happen.

I have had two Wildcats but neither had the Catsense system. From what I’ve read from other Wildcat owners the Catsense is supposed to turn on the outside light when you touch the door handle making it easier to unlock the door at night. Many owners don’t like the feature and most dealerships don’t understand how it works either.

I don’t know the location of the water pump on your travel trailer but the easiest way to find it is to fill you fresh water tank, turn on the pump, open a faucet, and then follow the sound of the pump to its location.

If your catsense light is the same as my motion sensor starlight, I have to turn the light on then off and back on within 5sec. Then I just leave it set to on. As stated I never heard of that term catsense. If I want the light to stay on all the time. I have to shut it off and then turn it back on and it will work without the motion sensor. Not doing the cycle above, just for my knowledge what is a catsense light?...

I have a 2012 30RL with catsense. I have no idea how it works and it seems to have a mind of it's own. I think it is one of those bright ideas (no pun intended) like the tankless water heater that nobody understands and it doesn't work. However, the light is only just a pain, the tankless water heater is a disaster.

Hello,
We have a 2012 29BHS also. The water pump is located in the back of the trailer under the streetside lower bunk. To get access, remove the mattress and piece of luan under that mattress. This gives you access to the water heater and the storage compartment at the back of the trailer.

Catsense? We found out how to temporarily disable it just by turning it off and on several times.
Here is what I found on the Lippert site on how to permanently disable it:

Now if only we could get that tanklesswater heater to give us consistent temperatures!
