Coating under slide

Noticed a scratch/cut in the coating under the bedroom slide. Checking further I found a screw behind the bottom seal, apparently left behind during construction.
Any suggestion on what to use to paint/seal this material?

That's a really good question! It's a shame it even had to happen--but, it is what it is. I imagine there's several different types of sealant that could be used here. I think I would buy some clear silastic (tube) and put a couple of beads right down the center if the tear. I'd then use about 1" wide metal or plastic spatula to spread out/smooth the beads into the material. This should, after it dries, give you a good strong, flexible repair that should last for years.

I am not familiar with squim...what is it?

It is a tape with adhesive on one side, made from the same material as the underside of slide. The RV shop called it Squim.

Looks like that could be darco on the bottom of that slide-out.
Darco tape may work for you.(underbelly tape)
Do you have any links to Squim... I cant find it on line.

They have the stuff in a tap and large sheets. The adhesive is very sticky.

I am familiar with that tape. In fact the dealer used it on a corner of the slide on my new Wildcat. It didn't last. It bunched up when the slides were used, but I don't have anything underneath my slide outs but a treatment.

It looks like it would adhere to the material on yours much better.
